Stewardship

Our commitment to stewardship is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in preserving and protecting the beauty of British Columbia’s snowmobile trails and the natural environment in which we ride. Through our dedicated efforts and collaborative partnerships, we strive to promote responsible and sustainable snowmobiling practices for the enjoyment of all riders, now and for future generations.

Stewardship refers to the responsible management, care, and protection of something entrusted to one's care. It involves taking responsibility for the well-being and sustainable use of resources, whether they are natural, cultural, or organizational. Stewardship entails making informed decisions, implementing best practices, and engaging in actions that promote the long-term health, preservation, and responsible utilization of these resources. In the context of the BC Snowmobile Federation, stewardship encompasses efforts to preserve and sustainably manage snowmobile trails, promote environmental conservation, and ensure the enjoyment of snowmobiling activities while minimizing negative impacts on the environment.
