INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION COURSE
QUESNEL – JANUARY 23 to 25, 2010
This is a three day course for the British Columbia Snowmobile Federation Instructor Certification.
Successful candidates from this course will be able to teach the WorkSafeBC compliant Industrial Snowmobile Operator Course and the Industrial Snowmobile Operator Recurrency Course.
Each candidate must be a current member of the British Columbia Snowmobile Federation.
The fee for this course is $375.00

DAY ONE:
0830 hrs. – We will meet in Quesnel at the Community Policing Acess Centre at 345 Anderson Road, (West Quesnel).
Introductions, finallizing paperwork and syllabus discussion will occur in a classroom setting at this time. Then we will spend the rest of the day on our snowmobiles, where I will introduce you to the BCSF Snowmobile Safe Operator Course.
1630 hrs. – end of day (approx)
DAY TWO:
0900 hrs. – Community Policing Access Centre
The entire day will be spent in a classroom setting. We will cover off the administration side of being an instructor, as well as Instructor Techniques.
1600 hrs. – (approx)
DAY THREE:
0800 hrs. – Meet in Quesnel and then travel by vehicles out to the Deacon Creek Trailhead.
This day will be spent outdoors on our snowmobiles
Each candidate will teach assigned portions of the Snowmobile Safe Operator Course to their fellow candidates.
I will be assessing each candidate for sucessful completion of the Instructor Certification.
