Polaris Announces postponement of 2008 ‘Way Out Women’ Snowmobile Relay to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Research in the U.S. & Canada
WOW Event Planned again in 2009
WINNIPEG, MB (June 12, 2007) – Polaris has announced it has postponed the 2008 International WOW (Way Out Women) Relay, a cross-continental snowmobile relay ride by women to raise funds for breast cancer research in the United States and Canada.
The next WOW Relay is planned for 2009 to coincide with Polaris’ 55th Anniversary and will continue to raise awareness and money to support this important cause.Â
The first three WOW Relays successfully increased public awareness about breast cancer and raised more than $800 thousand dollars to support breast cancer research.
The 2009 WOW Relay will be a part of the Polaris 55th anniversary festivities to help celebrate another Polaris milestone.Â
