Mountain Caribou Stewardship Management Agreement

The Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, Revelstoke Grooming Society and Glacier House Resort have recently signed a Stewardship Management Agreement with the Ministry of Environment. This agreement was a long time coming, with a lot of volunteer time invested to make it happen.

The British Columbia Snowmobile Federation would like to thank all the people involved, including the Government staff. Some of whom spent many months working with all parties trying to work towards solutions that will help caribou recovery and yet provide snowmobiling opportunities.

The BCSF is proud to have been a part of this process.

Many other clubs are finalizing their agreements, with only a few clubs left who are working towards possible solutions. Implementation of the Provincial caribou recovery process begins soon.
