Saturday, February 4th  – The Kettle Valley Racing Association presents SNOWMOBILE DRAG RACING in Midway, BC!  Come and join the fun of February 4, 2012 at the Midway Airport.  Gates open at 9:00am, Registration starts at 9:00am, Registration closes at 11:00am.  First Race at 11:30am.  $25.00 Entry Fee for Racers.  Bring it and Race it!!  To request pre-registration, e-mail: glenburn@shaw.ca.  Admission:  12 and over – $7.00 per person.  12 and under:  NO CHARGE with an adult.  On site Concession opens at 9:00am.  For Further information, contact:  Memory DeLisle 250-449-2808, Michelle Best 250-449-2680, John Coburn 250-449-2465.  For more information on Midway, BC, please visit http://www.midwaybc.ca

 Saturday, February 11th –  Williams Lake Powderkings Snowmobile Club – ‘Sweet Heart Ride to Wells’ – The Yanks Peak to Wells Sweetheart ride is booked for Feb 11th. We will leave the Yanks Peak parking lot at 9am, travel out… the 8400 road to Cameron Ridge, Ghost Lake for lunch and on to Barkerville and Wells for an overnight stay. We will return home Sunday morning at 10 am over top of Yanks Peak. You can book your rooms at the Wells Hotel , or the Hubs Motel. The restaurant and bar is open at the Wells hotel. The Wells hotel has a special on for us including your trail pass, contact them for info. Fuel is available at the local store. There will be a permit in place for the Cameron ridge closure area for the one day of travel. If avalanche conditions are high we will take the route over Yanks and Travel to Round top and some of the other areas on the Barkerville side. Saturdays ride is approximately 120km

Sunday, February 19th  - The Kelowna Snowmobile Club presents the 2012 Okanagan Sled Fest including the Annual Poker Run and SNOWARAMA charity event at the Graystokes snowmobile area trail head approximately 18 kms East of Kelowna on Highway 33.  Registration for the Poker Run at 9 AM with prizes being awarded at 3 PM. Displays by Arctic Cat, Polaris, Ski-Doo, Yamaha, aftermarket suppliers, Let’s Ride BC, Adventure Smart, Search & Rescue and a variety of other snowmobile related businesses.  In addition to the Poker Run which takes in the 70 km loop through Graystokes, there will be activities at the Trail Head through out the day.  For more details, contact sledkelowna@gmail.com

Saturday, February 25th  - “Arrow Lakes Ridge Riders Poker Run”, This is the first of two poker runs that are held annually.  Harlow Mountain is the first on Feb 25th and the Second is at Ingersol Mountain on April 14th.  For more information contact Mark Aeichele, Vice-President of Arrow Lakes Ridge Riders at 250-265-4684 or at Aeichele@telus.net.

Saturday, February 25th“SNOWARAMA”, Revelstoke, BC.   On February 25th, the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, the Snowmobile Revelstoke Society and the Revelstoke Lions Club will be hosting SNOWARAMA.  This is a charity event to raise money for Easter Seals House.  This event will take place at the Boulder parking lot starting at 5 p.m. and will include a bonfire, hot chocolate, hot dogs, a toboggan party for the kids.  Come on out and help us raise money for the kids with disabilities.  Donations will be accepted at this event.  We will be looking for your support as you come down off the mountain after a day of sledding and every donation will be greatly appreciated.  For more information, contact Paul Olsen at 250-837-9328.
