A Heartfelt Thank You to ISMA: Shaping a Safer and Healthier Snowmobiling Community

The BC Snowmobile Federation (BCSF) expresses heartfelt appreciation to the International Snowmobile Manufacturers Association (ISMA) for their generous grant during the 2022-2023 season, significantly contributing to the enhancement of snowmobile safety across British Columbia.

Project Overview:

In 2022, BCSF underwent a notable transformation of the SledSafe program, encompassing online safety courses, an Industrial Snowmobile Operator course, and monthly Tailgate Talks for clubs. ISMA's grant specifically funded the creation of a comprehensive image library, now a crucial component of BCSF safety program materials, marketing, and monthly communications.

Impactful Visuals for Enhanced Safety:

The grant facilitated the capture of over 100 images during a January 2023 SledSafe course field day in the Wells / Barkerville area. These visuals, showcasing safe riding practices, are now embedded in course manuals, enhancing safety explanations, as well as communications aimed at promoting safety and engaging riders in programs.

LEADERS IN SNOWMOBILE SAFETY:

ISMA not only conducts numerous Safe Riders campaigns in Canada and the US themselves, but also aids organizations like BCSF, contributing to essential work at the grassroots level. The resulting collateral not only strengthens snowmobile safety but also amplifies awareness, increases course participation, elevates safety standards, and emphasizes the value of rider safety in the success of our sport.

The BC Snowmobile Federation extends its sincere gratitude to the International Snowmobile Manufacturer's Association for their generous support, which has significantly contributed to the advancement of snowmobile safety initiatives in British Columbia.

THANK YOU, ISMA!
